Volunteer at Kind Farm Plant Nursery

Kind Farm Plant Nursery welcomes volunteers to assist with the day-to-day running of our native plant nursery. Volunteer work is practical and outdoors, and includes tasks such as potting plants, weeding, watering, and general nursery maintenance.

Volunteer sessions are held on Tuesdays from 9:30am to 1:00pm and must be booked in advance.

This role is focused on plant nursery work rather than animal interaction and is best suited to people who enjoy hands-on, physical tasks in an outdoor environment.

Volunteers are invited to stay after their session to share a cooked lunch with Kind Farm Animal Sanctuary volunteers and staff.

All profits from the nursery directly support the care of Kind Farm’s rescued animals.
